![]() ![]() If one of your characters get's stunned/frozen/disabled, you lose 50% of your power instead of just 25%. Plus, you now are only providing 2 targets for your enemies instead of 4. A separate character, however, will receive 44 by level 20. A Lone Wolf character will get an additional 19 ability points by max level 20. You actually will end up with less Action/Ability Points in total. Take it if you want to it doesn't make the game radically harder. It's in the game in case you really don't want to manage 4 characters. So I'm thinking of trying this, reading the OP and. ![]() Yes you will miss out on a couple of quests and some dialogue with Companions if you take Lone Wolf. That's much more dangerous with two Lone Wolves. The biggest danger to worry about with Lone Wolf is getting hit with hard CC that disables your character. It's still okay, just not as good as it was. Lone Wolf is a bit less of a buff in the EE, the HP has decreased by 10% to +70%, and you can no longer take the (nerfed) Glass Cannon Talent with it. I'm thinking for my first playthrough to try something fairly generic, an Int/Per/Cha wizard type with pet pal (since it's apparently really cool) set up to do all the talky stuff and spot things, then a fighter-type dude to just chop poo poo up. Do you miss out on much by not being able to hang out with companion dudes? Quests or dialogue or whatever? How is the combat balance if you're only rolling with the two Source Hunters? Would you like to see your heroes polymorph in battle? Or perhaps you’d like to rampage through enemy camps as a juggernaut? Sound off at the Larian Vault!
